Rossy Jerez Nietzche Quote 2/7/14
ndamentally,
life's nausea and disgust with life, merely c Nietzsche
once stated in The
Birth of Tragedy, p.23,
Walter Kaufmann transl “Christianity was from the beginning,
essentially and fundamentally, life's nausea and disgust with life,
merely concealed behind, masked by, dressed up as, faith in "another"
or "better" life.”
This quote means that ever since Christianity existed, It was created and
necessary in order to cover or hide people's personal problems and
hatred towards their life with faith. The type of faith of Christianity provides people with consist of belief in a healthier
life in another place. I choose this quote because I can related to it as a Christian believer. I, as stated in the quote, turn to my religion in time of need in the life.
